There's been a lot of 80's movies that are yet to be released on BluRay showing on Sky recently (Particulary a bunch I've been looking for).
Indiana Jones Trilogy Mannequin The Great Outdoors Teen Wolf Sixteen Candles Some Kind of Wonderful F/X 48 Hours Harry and the Hendersons An Officer and a Gentleman Footloose Turner and Hooch K-9 Next of Kin
The Indy trilogy looks especially decent, Some kind of Wonderful suffers with a little more graininess than others but still a lot better than the DVD.
Record with a non-Sky receiver and you can (legally) copy the recordings over to keep until the BluRays are released.
