Hi there About 20 years ago when I was about 8, I watched an american film on TV about a man who worked on a top secret experiment. He knew it was going to have serious concequences the next day, so he took an overdose in bed to end his life. But insted he woke up the next morning and went outside to find everyone had disappeared. He finds no signs of anyone until he comes across a scared lady, who tells him she remembers using a hairdryer, when it gives her an electric shock, just as a kind of explosion zaps, and instead of dying from an electric shock, she survives but everyone else disappeared. They then find a guy who has same near death experience just as the big bang happened. This new guy and girl have a love affair so the guy from the beginning drives to the lab to stop the experiment happening again and blows up the lab, only the explosion happens again, and he ends up on a deserted beach, with 2 moons in the sky! Random I know, but I vividly remember it and would love to know what this film was called, or if I just dreamt it up lol! I've asked video shop owners, googled it, and tried websites such as upallnight video. Anyone else out there ever seen this film?
