Has anyone ever seen it? It's on a short list of movies I'll be watching over the next week or so. It looks kinda funny, and I like Robin Williams.

Btw, I'll be posting some more questions on your opinions on more 80's movies. Found a stash over at my Mother-in-law's house that my hubby's sister had taped from vcr to vcr back in the 80's and early 90's! (she would rent movies at Phar Mor and then tape them while watching them).

Moscow on the Hudson was pretty funny at the time. You'll have to let us know how it has aged. I remember it came out around the time of Splash in that time frame somewhere and I remember it had this comedian in it who was Russian and was starting to make a bit of a name for himself in stand-up, but for the life of me I can't remember his name...anyways, enjoy [Smile]

Good movie. Not a hard core Robin Williams comedy. More along the lines of "The Survivors" with Robin and Walter Matthau. Kinda serious, but not too serious like "Awakenings".

I watched Moscow on the Hudson (1984) while the site was down.
I liked it a lot. The cast is great, especially Williams, Cleavant Derricks and Elya Baskin shine.
Miss Teenager of the World 1971 Maria Conchita Alonso makes her hollywood debut as Williams´ love interest and looks awesome.

You can hear The Gap Band tune Party Train in the film and it was so cool i just had to get their ´83 cd Gap Band V: Jammin´.
Luckily it was just re-released [Smile]
