I had never heard of this one before, but now I am glad we found each other. A Village people somewhat bio-pic. This ranks as one of the best of the worst of the 80s. Steve Guttenberg and Bruce Jenner are in their prime. 20 soapy guys in the shower during the YMCA performance is enough to make any 80s fan proud. they snuck some naughty parts in this PG fan friendly musical. A must see.
Any other fans out there. Movie fans put your pride on the shelf.

This is one of my fav movies of all time. I could watch it over and over and never get bored. Love all the music and the fashions.

I have never seen Can't Stop The Music, but when I came across it available for sale on the video shelves of As Good As New in Geelong, then I purchased it on the spot and posted it as a surprise present to a homosexual couple in Bendigo with whom I am friends. I therewith received a delighted thank you letter a while later, saying that it was fantastic to acquire the video from me. They did eventually get to view Can't Stop The Music and in a subsequent postcard I was told that they both thoroughly enjoyed it, with its "great costumes and dance routines of the 80s...a real hoot," and thanking me for thinking of them.
