Been one of my favorites for years. It's got to be in the top 3 of the Two Coreys movies. Heather Graham as Mercedes was a nice sneak preview of what was to come.

Saw it here in Los Angeles at a theater called New Beverly Cinema. I've posted a bunch of threads regarding this place. Check out my topic I just started "New Beverly Film Explosion". All the info is there and you can check their site for future/past screenings.
The theater was near capacity for LICENSE TO DRIVE. They even passed out Haim/Feldman pins to the audience!

Big fan of License to Drive. I must have watched it a hundred times back in '88. I also got ridiculously excited when Anchor Bay released it on DVD 17 years later. Watching that again on DVD was one of the best moments of pure nostalgic bliss I've experienced in a long time. It just took me right back...

Saw this one in the theater back when I was having a very one-sided love affair with Corey Haim. I remember really loving Lost Boys and Lucas, with License to Drive being my 3rd favorite Haim movie. I haven't seen it in years, and I wonder if it still holds up.
As an aside, I always preferred Haim over Feldman, but what an 80's pedigree Feldman has: The Goonies, Stand By Me, Lost Boys, The 'burbs, Gremlins, License to Drive, and Friday the 13th: The Final Chapter. Pretty impressive resume for a kid/teenager.
