Hi guys. I was wondering if anybody might know the name of a female character that I heard/saw in a movie along time ago. i believe it was either a late 70"s, early 80's movie. I always wanted to name my baby girl who is due in a week this particular name. I've always thought it was "Alida" but just want to make sure and double check
okay I could of swore it was either American Werewolf in Paris or one of "The Omen" movies. I was flipping through the tv channels one day and this horror movie was on. The girl was kind of "kind of" chubby, a teenager with brown curly hair. Her name was ??? "Alida" She was trying to save some little child I think? If that names rings a bell Please let me know. It stuck in my head and I told myself I loved that name, but after 15years I might of let the correct name go.....any ideas?
Thanks!!

The girl's name Alida \a-li-da\ is pronounced ah-LEE-da. It is of Latin origin, and its meaning is "small winged one".
