I tried watching this movie last night...I think I only got 5 minutes past the opening credits, and it was driving me crazy. I had to turn it off. Has anyone seen it?
I don't know if I could stand to even start watching it again, unless I knew it turned in to something that was really awesome.

It was a good road trip comedy/drama. You really should watch movie more than 5 minutes ISIS

I know....but it was kind of gross- it's like Animal House comedy- there's parts of that stuff I just don't like.
They were accessively drinking, and driving like maniacs down the middle of the road, and doing stupid stuff....like one guy climbed on the roof of the car, and was holding on to a strap on the roof, and they were just drinking and drinking, and then they were all puking their guts out along the road....
I thought it was more of a "guy" movie.
I can't stand seeing college movies were the house that a sorority or fraternity lives in- is completely trashed from partying...there's something about that ...that makes me so mad...I think even though it's a movie- I have gone in the college dorms/ apartments back when I was that age- and saw people doing that stuff...and I hated it.

You might have been watching one of my home movies from high school.

You know....I love in Revenge of the Nerds, when they renovate their fraternity and make it really cool.

Actually, this movie gets better after the first five minutes that recap 80'sRocked's high school years.

It's a more complicated movie than I thought, and I mean that in a good way. There are lots of funny, feel good-moments, but there's always a dark shadow behind them. The Groovers drink a lot, have fun and do some crazy stuff, but they mostly behave like this to escape the reality. To forget about being drafted into the army, or about a lost love. It kind of reminded me of Hal Ashby's 'The Last Detail' in that sense.
Life's like that.
