I have one of the coolest video rental places in my town. Everything you can imagine on DVD and VHS complete with stuck up film school wannabe clerks
So I'm there last night to notice the Night of the Creeps VHS had a sticker on it "deposit required"
I asked.......they require a $50 deposit to rent it. funny eh? a great horror movie and I still wonder why it hasn;t been released. Fred Dekker other classic The Monster Squad got a release??

I so hope my DVR never breaks. I have "Night of the Creeps" saved on it in HD and it is incredible in comparison to my barely playable VHS tape.
Muffster, my thought on the $50 is because it is out of print and your film school wannabes know it. Kind like "High Fidelity" for movies....ya think?

Man, all these years I have never seen it played on TV. Last year I reached out and got a copy. A disgrace it's not on official DVD.

I really need to DVR more of these movies in HD while they are still showing them. The problem is, I can't afford a Blu-Ray recorder yet. Some day they will be cheap enough. Till then I burn them to "standard" DVDs. It's better than nothing...

I bought it on DVD at Monster Mania when I was there with Cindymancini, and I paid $10 for it.

I also bought it on dvd for about $10. Great quality picture and all artwork included. Who needs official releases? I don't.

I caught this one on the hdnet movie channel a while back. I feel fortunate to have this classic in HD particularly since it isn't even available on dvd!

I encouraged my video store to take out this kind of insurance for 'Howard The Duck' but dud they listen?
I've never seen this movie as I was never into horror movies (besides 'The Shining' which is the last word in 80s horror) looks like you guys love it, so I may have to check it out some day.
