In 7th grade Reading class, we read a condensed version of the script earlier in the year, then saw some actual film footage (basically from the church scene to Dallas's demise) to compare our acting chops to the finished product.

I think Patrick Swayze played a terrific role in the movie. The fight scenes between the (greasers) and the (socs)were awesome.

Have you both seen 'The Complete Novel' cut of the film yet? All the scenes missing from the book in the original cut have been restored in it. Over 20 minutes. I'm like a stuck record on this hehe but it makes a huuuuge difference, far truer to the book. I have no care for the original theatrical version anymore. Seriously whoever hasn't seen The Complete Novel version needs to do it noooooooowwwwwwww
