My fave 80's high school movie is definately "Ferris Bueller's Day Off", but there are lots of others I like, and not just from the 80's.

"Never been kissed" with Drew Barrymore from the late 90's is another fave.

How 'bout you guys?

Does Fire with Fire qualify? Lisa was in high school anyway. If not, Can't Buy Me Love.

I'm gonna go with the movie "Lucas." One of the few movies that still chokes me up even after seeing it 5,000 times.

a few more honorable mentions:

Can't Buy Me Love
Fast Times at Rigemont High
Weird Science
Heathers
Just One of the Guys
The Breakfast Club

If you mean movie about or shot in or around High School...

I guess I'd go with...

Well since there are so many to choose from, I would have to say

1. Breakfast club.
2. Heathers
3. Weird science
4. Ferris Bueller
5. Pretty in pink

As you can see, I may like John Hughes films [Big Grin]

I love Fame.

Seems movies about high school is a very American theme.

I was trying to think of some British ones:

Harry Potter
Gregory's Girl
To Sir With Love
Clockwise

Can anyone think of any more?

Devolution here,

Better Off Dead and Sixteen Candles.

Both great movies and soundtracks.
After that in no order:
Just one of the guys, Fast times, and Some Kind of Wonderful.

Mean Girls would totally make my list.

WE are DEVO
