I saw that movie really late one night on a local station here in Canada.. it was a good film, kept me glued to the TV thats for sure.. Jennifer Connelly was quite attractive even back then! Ever since that movie came out I thought "Why don't they build a Target (Tar zhay) in my town" It would certainly help compete with the Wal-Mart in town.. Wal-Mart took over Canada, now I think it's TARGET's turn !! heh.. im just rambling now, but ah well! my apologies =)

Same down here. Everywhere I look, there is a new Wal-Mart popping up. I don't see very many Targets anymore, just here and there.

Fell in love with Jennifer Connelly after seeing it. It was the only thing that kept me watching cuz unfortunately I think it was John Hughes worst film.

I love Career Opportunities. I made my sister watch it and she really liked it too. My favorite part is all the guys reactions when Jennifer Connelly rides the horse (and Dermont Mulrooney trying to jump on with her). A real under-appreciated classic.

Imagine if they remade this with Megan Fox and cast Peyton maning(yes the Colst QB!) in the Dermont Mulroney role?

Did any of you people spot the unbilled John Candy cameo at all?
