I heard on G4 yesterday that Richard Donner said that plans for the Goonies 2 "are dead". I didn't hear a reason given. Looks like we'll have to wait even longer for more Goonie adventures!

Me too. Better to leave well enough alone. There is no way we'd feel about the "remake" or "sequel" the way we do about the original.
And as for our kids and grandkids? Let them borrow OUR copy of the original!

I agree to, sequel sucks...I was disappointed when i saw The lost boys 2 also when i saw indiana jones 4 and i´m sure that i would be disappointed if i saw Goonies 2
