I was shocked to see that there is no entry for No Small Affair on The 80's Movies Rewind. This has got to be one of the most forgotten classics of the 80's. The cast alone is a who's who of 80's cinema: Demi Moore, Jon Cryer, E.G. Daily, Jennifer Tilly etc.
I think this film is both funny and touching plus it is beautifully shot. Anybody agree?

Never really a fav of mine, but I can see why someone might appreciate it rassoodock. Besides "Pretty in Pink", my fav Jon Cryer flick is actually "Hiding Out". This one would be third though.

I like this one. Must agree with Valley.....it's 3rd to PIP and Hiding Out!
I love the song that plays at the end Eiffel Tower......Miss Mancini actually found a copy of it awhile back.
So Rassoodock if you didn't know? we all write the pages of the Rewind so go and submit a page for No Small Affair......Nick makes it easy......you just have to write your review and it walks you through it.

Oh I love this movie. I found it a few years back and was like "where the hell did this come from?" It was around this time I found Morgan Stewart and Hiding Out! Never knew these movies existed in the 80's.
But yeah, No Small Affair has some cool qualities...E.G. Daily is in this, you get to see Demi Moore doing her best Madonna/pop artist act, and the dude from Three's Company plays Cryer's mother's boyfriend! Not bad!

This movie is a hidden gem, I always liked this better than Morgan Stewart is coming home. A young Jon Cryer is always gold, that cute hoarse voice of Demi's EG Daily and Cheers's George Wendt is in it. You can't go wrong!

I just watched this, and I would give it a 4 or 5 out of 10. I think I went too much by the IMDB description. Demi Moore as an “older” woman? She’s only 3 years older than Jon Cryer. We would hav known that even before the internet. And the scenes where she sang were atrocious. Really bad lip synching. I liked the clothes and the scenery of San Francisco.
