I put them in this section since they were shot in 1981. Anyway, what do you think of them when they're used in the film's TV cut? While they are a bit long and don't add that much, they do fit the narrative quite well. I particularly like the early scene of Loomis arguing to the board that Michael needs to be moved to a more secure facility, then coming face to face with his patient; Carpenter does a great job surrounding Donald Pleasence with empty space to emphasize the doctor's plight, and it also adds a very nice ominous undercurrent to the scene.
