I can't stress enough how much fun I had watching 'Aliens' this past Saturday night. Turnout was great. A theater full of die hard fans made the experience all the better. I was most impressed with the new print used.
Is NewBev using newer prints of all 3 'Mad Max' films?

Wow TNUC! I am jealous that I can't see these movies on the big screen! What a list. You need to build a New Beverly Cinema II on the east coast. Would be a full house every night! The Dolph love-fest is classic....5 films for $10? I would be there! Might be worth flying out 3000 miles for that deal.

I'd love to see "License To Drive" on the big screen.

BC Brings 'Dr. Giggles' Back To The Big Screen
With all this health care stuff in the news, what better time than to revisit 1992's comedic slasher romp Dr Giggles on the big screen? Our own BC (under the guise of his site Horror Movie A Day) and Amoeba Music have joined forces and are presenting the first ever revival screening of the film on Dec 12th at 11:55 pm at the famed New Beverly Cinema in Los Angeles. Even better, Giggles himself, fan favorite Larry Drake (Durant from Darkman) will be in attendance for Q&A! Tix are 7 bucks and are available online HERE or at the door (cash only). You can get more info HERE and also check out the New Beverly site for directions and all that good stuff. See you there!
