I bought the "brat pack" edition last year or so, but, I checked into this one and it includes a bunch of new features, commentaries, never before seen stuff etc...
Just thought you might be interested...

That seems pretty cool (with the exception of the new covers). Errr... now I'm curious about that so called 'never before seen stuff'. But, I think I'll just stick with my High School Reunion Collection.

This is what I was holding out for all this time. I was so tempted with the HS Reunion collection, but there just had to be some deluxe treatment of the 80's most celebrated teen comdies down the road.

Did anyone get them this weekend? I saw them in the stores and was literally drooling. For our sakes I hope it's not the same limited edition thing they pulled on us in the past with the Valley Girl and Sure Thing DVD's. I just couldn't take that. If anyone got them, let me know.

I had all three in my hand today......can't justify the cost yet, so I put em back. What kind of prices are people seeing...they were $15 at Walmart. I guess the only reason I hesitate, is because of all this Blue Ray business...I'm buying special editions of movies I already have, then will I need to re-buy them again in Blue Ray? Hold on to your socks, but I might splurge for 16 candles...cause I don't have it on DVD yet!?

I actually have the first DVD edition of Sixteen candles which is pretty rare, but I definetly want to get the special edition. At HMV they had the 3 movies with a 2/30$ on them. I really thought about getting BC and Sixteen Candles, but I am going to wait for a bit.
