Hey all, just trying to find a vampire film from the 80's. Think its Midnight Hour, or something along those lines. Basically this guy meets this girl, falls in love then realises she is dead. At midnight on Halloween a lady turns into a vampire and holds a party for all of the high school kids and then she and her friends kill them all. Then the guy has to kill the head vampire lady knowing it will kill his dead girlfriend!
Anyone have any ideas what this film is called??
Thanks.

Hi Chucky, the movie you seek is indeed "The Midnight Hour" (1985). This actually a hidden gem of an 80's flick. I remember it because of Jonna Lee who I loved in "Making the Grade". Also, this might clinch it for ya, do you remember the party scene kind of having a wacky "Thriller" moment?

Has anyone else seen this movie? It is short on gore, but has a cult like Halloween following. It was possibly even a made for tv movie.

I haven't seen that one, I don't think so anyway. Will have to put it on my ever-growing list.

And how cool it that The Smiths "How Soon Is Now" was in this flick long before "the Craft" or the series "Charmed"!
Chucky, the movie is out-of-print, so it will cost if you really want an original copy.

Merde, merde. I passed up getting this once in the small store that I also passed up Up the Creek. I was a Jonna Lee fan too. So this has never been released on DVD?
