Sorry Devo...I haden't seen this thread yet.
I have alot of the DVDs too. I was kind of shocked about Grease 2...I didn't really think it was that major of a movie.
Didn't they have:
Lethal Weapon, The Terminator, and Die Hard anywhere in there?
I can't find a complete list...it says 40 DVDs...but I only saw about 10 movies listed.

You click on it for the complete list. It's movies for the most part that wanted to be on the list I think. Like Pretty in Pink is in there but Sixteen Candles and the Breakfast Club isn't in there.
I think they have their reasons, some of them are looking to gain fame again, I would think.

Major League is one of the best baseball movies ever made in my opinion.

Nope, no soundtracks. I'm pretty sure all these DVDs come with the same CD, which has only 4 songs; "Lips Like Sugar" by Echo and the Bunnymen, "Chains of Love" by Erasure, "Need You Tonight" by INXS and "Take on Me" by a-ha. Disappointing for sure...
All the movies released in this "I Love the 80s" promotion are from Paramount, which is why titles like Breakfast Club (Universal) and Die Hard (Fox) aren't available.
Also, some of these "I Love the 80s" editions are just repackaged bare bones versions of the movies that came out years ago before the new Special Editions with all-new bonus materials were available. Just so you know...

Well, it's early in the morning here right now so pretty cool. It's been nice the past couple of weeks, though. My place is being fumigated tomorrow so I'll be enjoying Waikiki with the tourists for a couple days. I wish I had planned things better, I would have gone out to the Turtle Bay.
