That film is fantastic and I think it was Whoopi's best movie. Some of you guys may disagree, but, I love the scence where her dress gets caught in the shredding machine!! What a hoot.
I love that film and I can simply watch that movie over and over. I love it when she is in the phone booth as well, getting dragged around by a truck. What a film that is so full of entertaiment. What do you guys think?????

The only thing I've ever liked Whoopi in was Ghost. Her worst role was dating Ted Danson.

Xchazz I can't belive you have never seen that film, well I suppose I have never seen Sixteen Candles!!!
She was good in Ghost to thinking about 90's movies, but I defo Think Jumpin Jack Flash is her best by far!!!
I think she has a 'right' wardrobe for that film, the most brightest I have ever seen. If only all jobs were as exciting as that then I would want to go to work every day.

i honestly could not believe you've never seen 16 candles. i laughed at first because i thought i misread it. forget the mob flicks, please rent this movie. in my opinion, it's still as funny to me now as it was when i first saw it. i'll never get tired watching this.
you'll love the donger!
"no more yanky my wanky"

It's a good movie, My wife is actually in it as an extra (she was a kid at the time) It's ok at best. Ghost is a little bit better, but Whoopi isn't the big draw we think she is.

Devo-that's really cool about your wife being in it.
I haven't seen it in a long time, but I know I use to really like it. It reminds me alot of how things are now with computers...and people meeting each other like she met him on the computer...I think she had a totally different person pictured in her mind than what he turned out to be....I know from the stuff he said and his voice...I never pictured him to look like what he turned out to be.
I have never seen that guy in any other movie.

I love the part where Whoopi is trying to figure out what lyrics that Mick Jagger is singing in the song "Jumpin' jack flash". Remember? She's like "Mick, Mick, speak English Mick"... hahaha...

That is pretty insane! Wow...I always liked this movie. I haven't seen it in years but I can remember laying on my couch on like a Saturday morning and it would be on HBO or Prism and I'd just watch it...held my attention. Cool!!!

It is a guilty pleasure of mine to watch! It is so shocking for my first exposure to Whoopi Goldberg to be The Color Purple and then have her follow up with so much comedy. I thought that Jumpin Jack Flash was hiliarious and well put together. I loved her colored reebok high tops too!
