I used to watch this movie all the time as a kid and it scared the crap out of me.

It was about this little girl who was a robot and somehow (I think they had to switch some microchip from "good" to "bad" for some reason) she became evil and went on a killing spree. I specifically remember her throwing a basketball at some old lady's head, causing it to explode.

That's all I got.

Any thoughts?!

Oh man, I forgot all about that movie!! That was great. Hey, wasn't there some sitcom about a kid that had a little girlfriend that was a robot. There was also some little redheaded girl next door that was competing with the robot for the boy's affections. What show was that?
