Wow...since when is AMC so cool? Both PRINCESS BRIDE and STAND BY ME tonight...and its not even their 80s Night!
The STAND BY ME looks interesting cuz its like a pop-up-video one with facts from the movie...which gives me incentive to watch it even though I already own STAND BY ME on DVD.
* Is it just me or does watching the commercials for STAND BY ME make you wanna cry? What IS that??? Is it River Phoenix or what???

I love Stand By Me. Just got it on DVD. I have seen it about 100 times and I never get sick of it.

QUESTION: At what age do you think its okay to show a kid STAND BY ME? Its a sweet movie but damn do those kids curse their little ***** off in it!
My daughter is in fourth grade and has seen some of it on TV (censored version). I have the DVD and I would love to play the whole thing for her and her friends but I don't know if 9-10 is old enough.

That's a tough one mama. That probably is a bit young for this one, but nowadays the stuff they see on regular TV is pretty bad. I was 12 when I first saw it.

I remember my mom and dad wouldn't let me watch it till I was older. If it were me, I'd just let her see the edited version right now.
