That is one of my "favorite" scenes of all time! Finally, someone else knows what I'm talking about...

You could just see the natural chemistry they had going between them.
Actually the whole movie is great and the cast is superb. Pitt as a slacker, Gandolfini, Chris Penn, Sizemore, Oldman, Walken
There was a cool article on this movie in the May issue of Maxim.

Mola Ram ripping the guys heart out, and laughing like a maniac, when it bursts into flames in TEMPLE OF DOOM!
Van Damme making an asss of himself, dancing in the background, in what appears to be some type of black unitard or something in BREAKIN'!
Ronald McDonald Miller going crazy with that african anteater ritual at the Colombus day dance in CAN'T BUY ME LOVE!
The aptly named Debisue Voorhees naked in FRIDAY THE 13th PART 5... she should have made more movies...!
Nick Hauser and the gang, messing with Morgan's bike in TUFF TURF!
The Phobe Cates pool dream sequence in FAST TIMES AT RIDGEMONT HIGH... I have yet to recover, and it has been about 20 years now...!
Jack Burton bursting in, on the Lo Pan wedding, all macho, firing his gun in the air, knocking himself out with a slab of concrete in BIG TROUBLE IN LITTLE CHINA!
The ending of THE LAST AMERICAN VIRGIN... so real and so painful...!
Farmer Ted's geek buddies, knocking over the beercan display, that the jocks obviously spend hours stacking in SIXTEEN CANDLES!
Princess Leia saying "I love you" to Han Solo, to which he replies "I know" like a damn pimp, in THE EMPIRE STRIKES BACK!
Rip persuading Julian to turn some homo tricks for him in LESS THAN ZERO... I love Spader as a douche...!
Jason doing crunhes between two benches, with R.J. sitting on his crotch, in NO RETREAT, NO SURRENDER... it just looks so wrong, cracks me up every time...!
Randy Bodek trying to be all smooth, when undressing in front of Joyce in LOVERBOY!
The little kid saying "NO... YOU BE THERE!" in THRASHIN'!
Hell, I could go on and on.... but I wont...

Well, this is not an 80s film. Actually it's from 2002. It's called Dog Soldiers. Has anyone seen it? Anyway, there is this scene where this werewolf has this guy cornered in a kitchen. This guy hits the werewolf with pots and pans and everything he can get his hands on. I'm laughing so hard I can barely breath at this point. Finally, the werewolf has him cornered and he knows he's going to die and the werewolf is going to eat him, he says to the attacking werewolf:
"I hope I give you the s.h.i.t.s, you f__king wimp"
I laughed so hard. This movie cracked me up... It's actually a good movie, it just happens to have this really funny scene in it. http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0280609/

OK can i just say, im new to these forums, i signed up about 2 seconds ago, but im NOT new to 'forums' in general. Also nor am i 'new' to 80's era movies, and thats what brought me here....
so yeah i gotta say (it might have been said before, i dont know i havent browsed much) my favourite movie scene is from james cameron Aliens
the scene is where ripley is about to leave the dropship and go save newt, she goes to leave and then stops. Ripley and Hicks exchange a glance, ripley says "see you hicks" then he says "its dwayne". ripley replies "ellen".
"dont be gone long Ellen"
for me thats the most epic part of the movie. its a friggin' action movie and yet it plays the love card on the smallest possible level. just a few seconds of movie to develop those characters a litle bit further and add a bit of something else to a GUNG HO ACTION MOVIE
i think that scene adds alot to the movie even if you dont notice it with the first watching. maybe someone here has said it before but yeah like i said im new, thats my choice.

Watched The Breakfast Club last night - well some of it - and the scene that caught my eye has to be up there amongst the best.
It's the bit where all five are just sat around talking about why they are there, and what it means. The way they go from judging others, to judging themselves, to understanding. Excellent writing, wonderful acting from all five, and a joy to watch. Should be compulsory viewing.
all time fave of course is the kissing scene in the garage between Keith and Watts in SKOW!
