I read through the "commonly asked films" hoping and hoping!
As far as I know: A small ball bearing (from space) get found by some kids who are obviously pursued by some bad people. Kids film.
I seem to remember the end was in a supermarket when all the balls friends/family (loads of balls) appear to help out and half destroy the supermarket?
I'd guess it was an 80's film. I just remember missing it after a famil arguement - catching bits of it and wishing I'd watched it all.
I've found the film once - but a few years back and no idea what I may have put into the web then?
I'd also ask how people get the films they are after? I assume a lot aren't out on dvd - so it's video or downloads (if you can find them) or lastly - hoping it's one day on tv again...
Any help on film or location of getting such films would be good. Seems I may have missed some classics!

You know I may have found it? In which case I'm talking to myself?
"It was called "The Glitterball" from 1977 ... although my synopsis wasn't exactly correct, I was close!" (this assumes we were looking for the same film but the description looks the same)
So next - any ideas where I can get a copy?

I think 'The Glitterball' was released on VHS (UK) but I'm not certain. It was one of many 'Children's Film Foundation' productions that were made from the 60's to the 80's.
If you're looking for a copy you might try ebay, it's usually the best resource. There's a bootleg DVD for sale on ebay UK right now.
