There was some talk a while back about an updated locations feature on this site. I got all excited like it was Christmas Eve 1984 and I couldn't sleep for weeks . . . but so far nothing under the tree. Any news on this?

The first phase of the major site revision is a completely new version of the site, due any time now.. When I can get it finished basically!
Nothing of the old site will remain --apart from this board. Everything will be new. Up to 5 pages of info per movie.
A further update will bring the new locations feature where between us we will try and hopefully track down every location for every movie and catalog them in a huge custom database that I've developed called "LoX". There'll be lots of pix, google earth plugins and much more...
I'd hoped to have it all done by now but it's just been a *massive* job... I realised that to get the locations feature launched with the new site would take just too long and I'm ridiculously late as it is!

Fantastic! This sounds like it's going to be well worth the wait. Thanks Nick.
Sorry to hear you'll be undertaking the unpleasant and grueling task of traveling around the US taking photos of 80s movie locations. I feel for you, I really do. Still, I guess someone has to do it...

Hehe, yeah... It's a dirty job, but you know, someone has to do it.
(Atually it's my 40th present to myself. Yeah, I'm OLD, man)
As I get some prototype pages of the new site design up, are you folks willing to have a sneak peak preview and let me know your constructive appraisal?
