I bought this gem of a collection for my cousin for her birthday at Best Buy earlier today. Here in NC it's $9.99 and you get 8 movies on 2 discs (2 movies on each side): My Tutor, My Chauffeur, Hunk, Tomboy, Jocks, Weekend Pass, The Pom Pom Girls (made in 1976), and The Van (made in 1977). Never heard of the last 2 70s movies.........

Whoa! This does sound like a craptastic deal! Too bad I already have My Tutor & Tomboy! I recall watching The Van and it was out of sight to say the least! I may have to just stop by Best Buy and check it out. How is My Chauffeur? Weekend Pass? Hunk?
Anyone, anyone??

Motley,
I bought it 6 months ago. There are a few good movies on it. For the price it can't be beat! Weekend Pass is terrible!

I remember Hunk from HBO I haven't seen it since the 80's though, guess I need to rewatch!
My Chauffeur is classic - I wish the dvd was widescreen though...

I was at my Moms flipping through this catalog from a Vidoe Store she had in her house and they had that set. Even I was like "DAMN! Whatta bargain!"
I already HAVE MY CHAUFFER on DVD though.

Nice find, I think I have My Chauffeur on VHS and do have Tomboy on widescreen DVD from Germany but the other films on that set look well cheesy, so a must have for my collection

Yeah, many of the movies are really quite good in that low budget charm kinda way... Out of the ones I've seen so far these are the standouts:
Tomboy (cheese-o-matic!) Hunk (could have been dire but wasnt) My Chauffeur (classic)
The others are very variable and I agree... Weekend pass is quite dire!

Anything with the great Betsey Russell in it is a good film! (Tomboy)
