Hey guys. I saw this movie when I was a kid. The major premise was about a woman and her little girl who are poor and are struggling. The major scene showed the mother taking the girl to the park and trading necklaces with her. The mother tells her to play while she goes and gets sandwiches. Unbeknownst to the girl her mother has prearranged for social services to take her away to a presumably better life. Her mother hides behind a tree while a they take her away kicking and screaming for her mommy. I cried when I saw it. I think it was made for tv. I am only guessing that it was an 80s movie. It was on Lifetime when I saw it.

I put in my queue...when I'm ready for a good depressing story. It really was a true to life story, I guess that is why I like it.
