Right, this could be hard cos i only remember bits.
Its about a guy and sum kind of alien or little monster (about the size of a critter), he has a kind of friendship with it and the alien sticks a spike in the back of his neck and drops green fluid on his brain, this makes him go wild an he get high off it.

Thats as much as i remember??? i was only about 9 or 10 so this film is probably an 80's.

PLease please please need to know
can any1 help

Yep definitely is Brain Damage. Some other movies with aliens and spikes (heads/necks) are Invaders From Mars and I Come In Peace.
