Hi all finally watched this bad boy today for the first time having recorded it last night, and have to say it was totally AWSOME dudes !
Ticked all the right boxes for me and in my opinion captured the spirit of the 80's brilliantly!
Just one question does JJL get here jugs out in every film she does!
Not that I am complaining of course and it was also good to see she was not alone where baring the baby feeders where concerned as it would appear that Phoebe Cates was also keen to show us her assists!
Will be buying this on DVD ASAP!
I thought I had just about seen every good 80's film, not so its made my weekend word up dudes!

Yup, JJL has done that in several of her movies. For me this was one of the first 80's movies I saw when I was younger that really showed the California outlook on life in the 80's. It has that California kind of feel. You know what I mean? Also, look at how many young stars were in that movie.

Must just be me then. But I've never really liked this movie. Didn't appear to have any real plot, just actors stumbling through a few days / weeks at school. Didn't think anyone was any further on as a person by the end.
Phoebe and JJL getting their jubblies out is the only reason for having this on DVD for me....

Try watching it again when you're drinking... It's pretty funny.
Some funny quotes...
Mr. Hand: What's the reason for your truancy?
Jeff Spicoli: Just couldn't make it on time.
Mr. Hand: You couldn't, or you wouldn't?
Jeff Spicoli: See, there was a full crowd at the food lines.
Mr. Hand: Food will be eaten on YOUR time. Why are you continuously late for this class, Mr. Spicoli? Why do you shamelessly waste my time like this?
Jeff Spicoli: [long pause, but then with complete truth in his answer] I don't know.
Mr. Hand: [Mr. Hand goes to blackboard and writes the words 'I Don't Know', then underlines them] [reciting]
Mr. Hand: I like that. 'I Don't Know.' That's nice.
[imitating] Mr. Hand: 'Mr. Hand, will I pass this class?' Gee, Mr. Spicoli, I don't know! You know what I'm going to do? I'm going to leave your words right up here for all my classes to enjoy, giving you full credit of course, Mr. Spicoli.
Jeff Spicoli: All right!
Jeff Spicoli: What Jefferson was saying was, Hey! You know, we left this England place 'cause it was bogus; so if we don't get some cool rules ourselves - pronto - we'll just be bogus too! Get it?

I'm glad to hear you liked it. It's a movie that you can watch over and over again and not get bored with it.
I heard that they actually wanted to ban this movie from the theaters because it had abortion, sex, nudity, drugs etc. in it. I saw the True Hollywood Story on it a couple of years ago.

I saw that E special too. They said they originally wanted Damone to be showntotally naked in the sex scene but the censors absolutely wouldnt allow it.
