I've heard even Stephen King say bad things about this film, even though he directed it. I think it's cool though, the AC/DC soundtrack as well including Who Made Who. Emilio Estevz seemed to be on a role in the 80s. Young Guns I like very much also. Not everyone enjoys Stephen King adaption, but I'm sure there are many fans around here.

Maximum Overdrive is not the worst movie i ever saw...it's certainly not the best movie i ever saw either. I just have to be in the mood to watch this movie(like when there is nothing else on tv to watch)

I just watched this thing from start to finish last night and I laughed my you know what off all of the way through it. I couldn't believe the waitress, Wanda June, kept coming out having a caniption fit stating--"We made you, we made you". The special effects and certain shots that King did were just awful, but I still liked the film okay. It was the first time I saw the ending of this one. Great music in it, also some terrible acting. I cannot believe that the kid who played Deke didn't go onto bigger and better stuff.

I agree with whoever said it wasn't the worst, or the best, movie ever made. I liked it when I was a kid, but I watched some of it awhile back and it didn't seem as good. The soundtrack is awesome, though.
