It might be an obvious question and may have been answered already. I used to view these forums a lot and there seemed to be more people posting before. I had not visited this site for some time and now that I have returned it seems to be fairly quiet. Does anyone know why?

To quote Dale Arden :"It's a little too quiet around here for me" I'm not a New York city girl though.

Some people are still here, others are gone. Some people choose to stick around, some people choose to leave. That happens on message boards all the time.
My advice: Enjoy the now.

Exactly... As I've said loads of times before, this site was started as an encyclopedia of 80s movies. A place where people could come and browse those old classics and not read how lame they were.
In the late 90s when I first started on this, it seemed like no-one online had anything good to say about these cheesy classics.
People asked often for a place to discuss these movies and so we added these boards. They are what people make them. Occasionally someone will show up and have nothing good to say. Like any board we've had our fair share of trolls and I've deleted several such comments from this thread and others because we know from history that it just starts arguments.
Either contribute cheerfully and positively or go somewhere else... It's everyone's choice. --and the only way to be fair to the other members.
Thanks for your co-operatation --and thanks to the many hundreds (or thousands) of very welcome members who show up regularly to read and post the occasional question or interesting tidbit.
-It's for you that this board exists
