Its been plaguing me for years..
i watched this flick around 1989 or 1990..

Its set in a night club where wannbe music stars would perform as the current Popular contemporary artists..as i recall there was michael jackson (doing Billie Jean)..and im sure Tina Turner also..

Dont remember much of the story line im afaid but it mainly surfaces in that night club..

the title of the film features either "star" or "night" in it..maybe a two worded TITLE..but its blankedout of my mind.

Any ideas? [Confused]
