Author Topic: Need Sorta Slasher Film Name..PLS HELP!!

There was a movie in the mid to late 80s that was sort of a slasher/serial killer movie.

This is what I remember:
Guy gets in a car crash and ends up falling in love/marrying the nurse who helped him get better in the hospital. if I'm not mistaken, he was already a killer prior to the crash, but my main memories are after he gets out of the hospital and moves in with the nurse and her 2 boys(I think).

Anyhow...they'd heard on the news of a serial killer being on the loose who wears a black, dominatrix like mask. One night while putting towels in the linen closet, the wife/nurse discovers the mask in the linen closet and immediately knows her new husband must be the killer. Then next thing I remember is she goes into their very dark garage and I think he walks up on her and trys to slash her. Seems like she narrowly escapes through the garage door.

Does this sound familar to anyone?? I don't know any actors names, but anything would help.

Might be Tightrope - I think the killer wore this type of mask (it's either a Eastwood or Norris movie that this mask on the VHS cover I believe).
