Most people seem to agree that the title belongs to Molly Ringwald (though Ally Sheedy is my favorite female brat-packer). But today I was watching Loverboy (just got it from Amazon) and, once again, Elizabeth Daily popped up. True, she never got first billing, but the volume of work is impressive - she either acted in or was in the soundtrack of:
Breakfast Club Better Off Dead Scarface Valley Girl Pee-Wee's Big Adventure Loverboy Summer School Thief of Hearts
And I think that list is too small. It seems that in any 80s movie, there is a good chance that she is in there somewhere. I could swear she was one of the hottub girls in Back to School, but maybe I'm mistaken. So there you have it - my 80s queen. And I love her voice work these days, especially as Buttercup on PPG.

I think you're thinking of Becky LeBeau (sp?) in Back to School.
She was also in No Small Affair but where was she in Summer School? I don't remember her in that but maybe she did a song that I didn't realize was hers.

Molly definitely is the Queen of 80s movies. She was the 80s. Everything about her symbolized the decade. You are right about Ally Sheedy, you can't dismiss her and what she accomplished during the 80s, but all in all the title still belong to Molly.

Theif of Hearts was pretty good. From what I remember Steven Bauer plays a theif who steals a woman's pocketbook and then seduces her. i think he reads her journal or diary and then acts the way she wants her fantasy man to act. It's been a while since I watched it so I don't remember exactly what happened.
