I bought this movie a while ago but just got around to watching it. I found it to be quite good .
Jon Cryer was endearing as a teenager left to the wayside by his parent's political career goals. I thought it was cool how he was all into horror movies and had all kinds of posters on his wall like Friday the 13th Part 3 and Evil Dead. I also liked how he had masks and fake body parts everywhere. Pretty original!
I thought the girl who played Emily was the perfect compliment for Jon's character. The scene where they meet in the mall was awesome! I've been to conventions like Chiller Theater and it was exactly like that...people in costumes and memorabilia! It was so sweet how Morgan and Emily clicked immediately since they were soo much alike and were so excited to finally have someone they could talk to about their interest in horror movies! They definitely had good chemistry.
I thought the scene where they ended up in the shower together with those scary masks on was cute. I just wish the movie focused a little more on their friendship and not so much on the parents. Overall, a decent flick to add to one's collection. Anyone else like it?

I gotta say it was just okay. I like Jon Cryer and I like the girl, can't remember her name, but I thought the movie could have been better. I haven't seen it since it came out on VHS so maybe watching it again would change my opinion.

I actually bought a VHS copy but I am putting it on DVD for preservation's sake. I would hope that with Jon Cryer's success on Two and a Half Guys that his older stuff would see some new DVD attention but then again I hoped for the same thing with Patrick Dempsey and Virginia Madsen and so far, nada.

I just watched this for the first time and liked it alot!
I loved the character of Emily her outfits were awesome and crimped hair, she had the best smile! Morgan and Emily had such great chemistry.I also wished they'd played more on their friendship not so much on his parents.

I kept wondering about this one,I liked Jon cryer's other big screen outings,I thought no small affair was underatted and enjoyed hiding out.
I'm going to give this one a go,I'm sure I would probably like it!
