I have not seen either one of these but I was so tempted to buy them the other day now that they've been released on DVD. I mean, Halloween 1 and 2 are great, I heard 3 was bad but I don't know anything about 4 or 5. Please help...are these worth having?

I love part 1 & 2. Hated HALLOWEEN III. As for 4 and 5....well, I enjoyed them when I went to see them in the theater but they really werent THAT great. They ARE better than all the ones after though.

Funny that, I really like Halloween III because of the whole 'evil wins' thing, I don't much like the other Halloween films mainly because they all follow the same 'oh good we killed him' then a short while later 'oh crap he's back' formula about a killer who can't die.

I saw Halloween 4 and 5 on TV. It's actually kinda funny, 'cause the kid has a stupid clown outfit on...Kinda good popcorn flicks, but then again, I was never one for cinematic masterpieces. I liked them better than the first Halloween, but then again, I'm more for humor than horror.
