I know it's not an '80s movie, but it is a sequel to the '80s original. I hate it when they do stuff like this.... why is it a sequel to Patrick Swayze's Road House when it has nothing to do with it? They just try to capitalize on the name! The only thing that connected it to the original was that they mentioned Swayze's character, Dalton, in it. This should have had its' own title! I thought it was a pretty desent action flick. It could have stood on its own without borrowing that title. It was basically about a DEA agent who goes to Louisiana to help his uncle who owns a bar and was beat up by some drug dealers when he refused to sell the bar to them. The drug dealers want it because it is prime location to run their drug running business from since it is on the swamp where drugs can be ran by boat to Florida, Louisiana and Texas undetected. The star is not a bouncer! He's a cop. They try to tie it in by saying that he is Dalton's son. That was ridiculous. If you gonna call it Roadhouse 2 you need to put Swyaze in it! I thought it was worth seeing, but it wasn't as cheesy as the original. They did use some of the same lines in it though. If any of you watch it... post what you thought about it here!

I think that Jonathon Scheach SP????, who was married to Christina Applegate stars in this direct to DVD sequel. I still want to see it but it has been so long and not even the same people in it why don't they just call it something else other than a sequel to that movie.
