I've never seen this but mamamiasweetpeaches mentioned it in another post. Is it worth buying? Is it out on DVD? What's it like?

I've heard of it but never seen it...doesn't it have some 80s rock/metal artists in it? I'd like to know, too...is it good?

Get it immediately. It's an 80's classic. Skippy Handleman from Family Ties is in it, playing everyone's favorite metal obsessed high school outcast. Some great metal moments too.

I love it. Granted, the special effects aint so special, but so what! OZZY is in it as a DJ and KISS's Gene Simmons is a DJ. that's reason enough to buy it! (I got the DVD used on AMAZON dirt cheap!) The main charactor is Skippy from FAMILY TIES (Marc Price) and his nemesis is "the gay guy from MELROSE PLACE" (Doug Savant. RTight there, that line-up is Totally 80s!
