Summer School just worked it's way up to being in my top favorite 80's movies of all time.
I watched the entire thing today from beginning to end.
I love it.
I think it would have been so fun to have been apart of making that movie, the cast looked like they had a blast...it just seemed like how I remember the 80's really being.
I love when he takes them on the field trips...they all look like they are having a blast on the go-carts...And, I love the "killer bunny" scene.
I think it was like a tribute to 80's movies, because "Chainsaw" has movie posters from Jaws 2, and Friday the 13th on his walls, and they mention American Werewolf in London.
I thought it was awesome, because they loved the Texas Chain Saw Massacre...which came out in the early 70's, and Summer School came out in 1987..so they appreciated movies from before their time...just like I hope that now...more and more people are becoming fans of all the 80's movies.
I thought the girl who played Anna Maria was really pretty...I LOVE the outfit she is wearing at the amusement park..I love that shirt...
I love all the clothes Kristie Alley wears...they were so cute and everyone wore lots of color, and had matching everything.

Did anyone know that Robin Thomas who plays the principal (Phil) in Summer School...was also in About Last Night and was Demi Moore's old boyfriend Steve???
I saw on imdb where they list a "Summer School" for 2006...and it looks like a remake of this one...but they don't list a cast or anything...does anyone know anything about it?

I don't know anything about the remake, but Summer is school has been great since I saw it in theatres back in the mid-late 80's. Courtney Thorne-Smith... yummy.
