I was reading DVD release news and saw that this horror flick is getting released. It starred Meg Tilly, Elizabeth Daily and Adam West. I was surprised that I hadn't ever heard of it. Has anyone seen it? Is it worth buying?

Jessie, I'm sad to report that this movie didn't pass the Rewinder Fright Night Test. 80'sfreak was highly disappointed and Mr. Tia is still trying to figure out how to open the box. mamamiasweetpeaches called it "A movie I watched so you wouldn't have to"...ouch.

i watched it today, by coincidence. sorta funny in its badness, but yeah, i sorta dozed off. it's a good movie to sleep through, except for all the screaming and sobbing.
i liked the gross-me-out effects. and meg's a looker. and it was kinda a trip down memory lane. but yeah, not good.

Well, it wanst great but it was harmless enough. I justw atched a movie called WOLF CREEK that I hate with every ember of my soul! Now that was wretched!
My advice for ONE DARK NIGHT, watch it but dont go in with too-high-expectations.

Well I hope I get the opportunity to see it so I can judge it for myself. I cannot imagine seeing any 80s movie that wouldnt' hold some kind of appeal for me. But who knows what I will think of it. Only time will tell....

Is this the one about the Scarcrow? I have a hazy recollection, or alternatively it could be another of those freaky acid flashbacks.

nope, it's the guy who can move stuff with his mind and he dies and meg tilly is trying to get into a sorority but she's going out with the ex-boyfriend of the president of the sorority who decides that she's gonna get back with meg by making her spend the night in the mausoleum but then the guy... well, i'd be giving too much away.
it wasn't a good movie but i didn't mind watching it. i thought it was amusing in that bad movie way. oo! and there's a great arcade scene with tempest and scramble!
