I'm looking for the name of a movie. I think it was an 80s movie, like around '80 or '81. It took place in the past and was about this couple who moved onto this farm where a murder had happened. It was a mob-type murder. In the beginning, where they show the murder, they show someone's glasses getting hit. Whichever character he was, he survived, because he showed up again in the movie. Someone was trying to kill the couple who moved into the farmhouse. Has anyone seen this movie who could help me??

I think you're talking about a movie I've been trying to figure out for years. It use to be on HBO back in the early 80s. I thought the name might be "The Eviction". But I went to IMDB and it wasn't listed.

Hey, I think I finally figured it out after all of these years. It's "The Evictors". It was a 1979 movie. LOL, I don't know if that's what you're talking about but if it is, I thought I was the only one on the planet trying to figure out what movie that was LOL. I'm almost 100% sure that's the movie you're talking about.
