Those plus the Henson specials:
-Emmet Otter's Jugband Christmas
-Christmas Eve on Sesame Street
-Muppet Family Christmas

Also,
-the Claymation Christmas special
-Mickey's Christmas Carol
-the Real Ghostbusters Christmas episode (where they accidentally catch ****ens's Christmas ghosts and as such ruin Christmas for the future)

and more I can't even think of at the moment

Has anyone here by any chance seen the Star Wars holiday special that Lucas refuses to release because he thinks it's terrible? If so, what's your opinion on it?

The ones that I own that I watch every year are

A Charlie Brown Christmas
Mickey's Christmas Carol
National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation
A Christmas Story
Garfield's Christmas

Also I try to watch "Three Days" which is a really sappy ABC Family movie. I watch all of the Christmas Carol movies that they show on TV.

It's a Wonderful Life is probably one of the best.

I like all the older tv shows and the Xmas specials they use to have on TV...Like Sonny & Cher and Donny & Marie use to really do cool shows at Xmas. I loved that.

I love the Little House on the Prairie- Christmas at Plum Creek movie.

I have heard other people say they like Die Hard at Xmas cause it takes place at Christmas, so does Lethal Weapon...I miss those kind of action movies, cause it was always so fun to be out shopping and go see a matinee.

I love Emmet Otter. I plan on buying my son a bunch of TV shows on DVD for Xmas...like The Muppets and Starsky and Hutch Season 3, so we have stuff to watch over Christmas vacation.

All the older shows always had episodes that they did Christmas in them.

I just remembered, I also have a soft spot for Yogi's First Christmas. Hanna-Barbera put together a string of good holiday ones during the 70s and 80s, and that was the best one.

In live action, The Night They Saved Christmas stands out, and seems even more real today since it's not inconvceivable they may blow up the North Pole if they think there's oil there. Plus, if Santa actually did do the things he popularly does, this film contains many of the M.O.s I'd think he'd use (i.e., freeze time and space and magically zap himself inside each house).
