Does anyone remember the film "Night Of The Creeps" from the 80's? I had totally forgotten about it until I saw it last weekend on Encore. Basically a cast of relative unknowns, the biggest star was probably David Paymer who you would remember from "City Slickers" or maybe "Howard the Duck". One person I recognized was Suzanne Snyder that started in "Killer Klowns From Outer Space".
This movie was a basic B-Horror/Comedy, but I enjoyed it. It did play a little like Michael Jackson's Thriller video for awhile, but still a good flick.

It's one of my favorite movies that I don't own. I would buy it in a second when it comes out. Good humor, and some decent jumps. Nothing like B Movie laughs.

Are we sure it's not on DVD yet? I think I need a copy too! The one thing me and my friend always laugh about is the graffitti in the mens room that says "STRYPER RULES" (In case you dont know, STRYPER was a Christian Rock band in the '80s. Way to date a movie, although the hairdos and fashions date it too). I think NIGHT OF THE CREEPS is a silly Horror movie, not so scary, but enjoyable. I also remember hearing there are two different endings.(I think the version they show on TV difeers from the video version).

I saw that on Encore Sunday, but I didn't watch it. Not a bad movie...not great, but okay. Didn't they have to destroy the creeps with water?

Its funny you guys are talking about this movie. I have actually never seen but have heard from several people that it is a pretty fun movie. So I bought it on ebay on dvd a couple days ago. I hope I like it but even if I dont no big loss as I can just turn around and resell it. It does look pretty good though. 80's cheese at its best.

So it's on Encore this time? Every year around October, it starts making the rounds on premium cable. I was surprised that I hadn't seen it on Cinemax lately, but since it's on Encore that makes sense.

Aargh! I have never seen this movie, it's been such a thorn in my side. Almost broke down and got it on e-bay, but still holding out for an official DVD release. I want to see it !

Hi guys. I bought a copy of this film that included two versions: the 'cemetery ending' and the 'zombie egg' ending. I really like the scene when the cop, Tom Atkins talks about his high school sweetheart, I like him in Maniac Cop too. Jill Whitlow who plays Cynthia was also in Ghost Chase, and if you read this in time (I know Mire Mare has this already) it's showing on Zone Horror at 12:30pm today in England.

I caught this flick on one of the hi def movie channels not too long ago. It was so great seeing it in widescreen for the first time ever!! What a fun movie, it definitely deserves a real DVD release.
Last year when Slither came out there were some comparisons to Night of the Creeps, so I watched it. I didn't like Slither at all, but that's just me.
I guess they don't make them like they used to haha?!

NOTC is one of my favs. from the 80's. It boggles the mind why this film has not found it's way to DVD yet. I see copies for sale on different sites but I'm always hesitant to order one. Among my other favs. from that era, Night of the Demons, Return of the Living Dead, Fright Night, Friday Series, The first Nightmare on Elm Street,...ummm, lemmesee..976 Evil, Sorority Babes in the Slimball bowlerama, Dawn of the Dead. The 80's produced tons of fun for any horror fan!

I heard they had been discussing releasing Night of the Creeps but had some copyright issues to take care of. It seems every time they start showing these old films on tv they are usually considering a release but are running into problems instead.
