Has anyone seen the episode that Deborah Foreman was in for this show?? I only saw about 2 minutes of it this morning and her voice was totally dubbed. What is up with that?? I mean she was talking to him and looking at some kind of ancient artifact and you could totally tell that it wasn't her voice.

What episode is it??? My son has been watching MacGyver whenever he can....and I would love to see Debbie as a guest on it.
My son really loves it...I can see why...it has mass appeal to boys.
I have a bunch of episodes of MacGyver taped, but I don't know what ones they are...I sure hope one of them turns out to be that episode.

Originally aired February 4, 1991. She played Beth Webb and the episode was called Eye of Osiris. It was the 6th Season and 14th episode of the season.

This show was actually one of Deborah Foreman's last acting gigs. She did an episode of the "Marshall" in 1996. Isis, I've seen this MacGyver and it's not classic Deb. Too bad ya know, like I won't get bummed out though.
Mac helps out on an archelogical dig for Alexander the Great´s tomb. But the expedition seems to be followed by bad luck. Several incidents nearly causes a shut-down. Then Mac finds clues leading to Alex´s tomb.
Unfortunately, the accidents are not coincidental, and they meet a very vengeful man who traps them inside the grave...

I asked my son about it tonight, and he said he saw it. He said it was ok.....I said the name of the episode and he knew it, and I said Deborah Foreman was in it....and he said she played some scientist, and I said "do you know who Deborah Foreman is? and he said ...isn't she the "Valley Girl"?. See...he's paying attention.

There is a LOT of dubbing on that show. I guess they couldn't get any of the Vancouver actors to do a real foreign accent???

That has to be the dumbest things I have heard, Deb has a great voice, what in the world did they do with the shoddy dubbing?

Can't believe I never saw this thread before. MacGyver is my favorite 80's show of all time. Not because of the acting of course! I was fascinated with the stuff he came up with to get out of trouble. Plus, he is a huge hockey fan!
