Favourite scene is when Bryan is telling the rest about hiding the flaregun in his locker. As he explains why you realise just how desperate he is and how his grades are all that matter, it is quite a touching scene.
Least favourite is when Molly Ringwald gives Ally Sheedy the make over from hell !, you looked like a cool goth before Ally now you look like Minnie mouse !
