I cant think off hand which scene I liked best. Guess I must re-watch it. Although I do like how Eric Stoltz sister in the movie likes to embarrass (spelling?)him every now and again.

I like the bit right at the start of the movie, which runs through to the end of the final credits......
Actually, thinking about it is good fun - let me give you a High Fidelity Top Five:
5. The bit where Ray's trying to hit on Watts, and she says "This is 1987. A girl can be whatever she wants to be", to which he replies "I know, my mom's a plumber."
4. The scene in the club, where Watts faces up to Keith and all but opens her heart up to him.
3. The showdown at Hardy's party. I just love how everyone is so cool there - except Hardy!
2. The bit where Keith visits Watts, and says that you always hurt the one you love, and she says "so when are you beating the s**t out of Amanda Jones?". He laughs out loud, she still stares into space.
and at # 1.....
The practice kissing scene in the garage. What else?

Elias Koteas: "Actually, it's your Mother's house and we're all havin' a party..."

I guess Jessie likes the Museum scene, dont all girls go for that? ;o)
I like the end party scene and where Keith tells his dad his a 'nerd' ish. The way he explains it and the way the dad sorta understands..

Has to be without a doubt, the Kissing Lesson scene.
Honourable mentions:
The final scene.
The Friday night scene and the look on Watts' face when she sees Keith asking Amanda out.
The scene where Watts tries using Ray to make Keith jealous.
Pretty much any scene with Duncan. He's got some of the best lines in the film.
By the way, out of interest I checked the logs, and this picture is the most viewed gallery image at SomeKindofWonderful.org. Says something, I think.Posts: 17 | From: Australia | Registered: Feb 2005 | Site Updates: 0
