Philadelphia Experiment - definately. I'm a little shocked that you've not seen it before now. Call yourself an 80s fan?

Doesn't Philadelphia experiment have a young Cynthai Nixon (later from Sex in the City) in it? I actually haven't seen it either.

You know . . . I hate to be the one to explain this to you, but the ratings of movies are listed on the back on the bottom. They might be tiny, but they're there--In fact, they're on the back of any movie, sometimes explaining why it's rated a certain way.
But have fun. Let me know how Teen Witch turns out, 'cause I might want to see that one myself.

Okay I am missing out on something, you have never seen Teen Witch? I would say that it is okay for your son to see that one, at the most it is PG=13, but no nudity or profanity. Get your grater out because it is cheesy!! You'll love that one.

It even has some Breakdancing. Now she'll definitely rush to watch it.

I actually started watching The Philadelphia Experiment last night...my son wants to watch it, and so far it looked ok for him...I saw some very brief nudity...a topless scene...when they were in the diner-on the tv a lady ran by-believe me...my kid will not be traumatized by that much.
It is really cool...about the whole travelling in time to 1984...from 1943...just think how really different that would have been, just a 40 year span...how much changed. I am going to go watch it again right now.

I finished watching The Philadelphia Experiment...it was actually very cool...it reminded me of Back to the Future alot...with one guy travelling back and forth in time, and the whole thing with the lightening. The guy that devised the whole thing was like Doc Brown.
I actually thought it had a pretty happy ending.
I sort of like Nancy Allen, except her acting is kind of bad...she talks too soft and sounds really frail or something.
Whatever happened to her? What does she look like now?? Does anyone have current pictures of them?? I would like to see both Michael Pare and Nancy Allen on the 80's Vs Now thread...Diane Lane and John Cusak would be good too...I just saw the preview for their new movie.
