News of a sequel to the classic "Dark Crystal" is on the horizon. Jim Henson's son is working on the sequel, but there is no release date at the moment and they are trying to get Frank Oz to get on board and help out. It is all too exciting!!! I just can't bear this waiting.

A Dark Crystal remake? Man time flies, I really have smething against puppets. When I saw Dark Crystal back then in the theatre I was kind of creeped out, I never saw it aagin and I want o keep it that way.
Actually i wouldn't mind seeing a sequel or remake of Gregory's Girl, a classic Scottish 80's move prettyinpink. Would like to see Gregory coaching a soccer team with his wife(Claire Grogan), and having his son go through all the stuff his father went through, and Franz Ferdinand or Belle and Sebastien would supply the soundtrack.

A Dark Crystal sequel? That would be pretty awesome. It would be interesting to see how a movie with puppets would do nowadays (Team America aside). I'd kill for a Labyrinth sequel. Perhaps a story of Jareth's life in the geriatrics home.
I keed! I keed!
I *heart* David Bowie.

They made a seqauel to Gregory's Girl a few years ago. It stank. Story was that he was a teacher at the same school, no Clare Grogan, no Dee Hepburn, no penguins. He got some kind of fixation on a student at the school, and ignored the advances of one of his fellow teachers. OK so far.
Then they bought in some international espionage story, and the whole plot fell apart.
Stick to the original - it's a one-of-a-kind movie.

I bought the Dark Crystal dvd the other day and saw it for the first time last night. It was cool. I wonder if they are going to use actual puppets or computer generated characters in the sequel.

I had no idea they made a sequel and they destroyed it like that. It's a shame. They should get actual fans to direct movies like that instead of being so consumed with the gate. What was the movie called?
