I was watching parts of it earlier, it was on AMC, and my son had it turned on.
I like the first one, I love Buford T. Justice.
The 2nd one with the whole elephant thing...that is an odd story line, and I hate the 2 "brothers" of Buford's, who were also played by Jackie Gleason. Yuck.

I really liked the first one too. The story line in 2 is kind of off the wall, but I did enjoy the music. Part 3, I did not like at all.

It seems by and large like a retread of the first one when you watch it, with less pleasure for the viewers. Still, you got to love the creativity they come up with for the climax, plus Burt's line, "I'm being chased by county Mounties and Mountie Mounties."
