Has anyone else ever seen this movie? It played all the time on HBO when I was a teen, and I remembered seeing it alot. I bought it last year on DVD, and it was actually scarier than I thought it was...I thought before it was a comedy about scary movie stuff...but it actually was kind of freaky in places.

Wow...I don't think I ever knew there was a "sequel". I must have missed that one.

I need this on DVD, it's all part of my 80's schlock horror fest I am planning with my buddies. Can this still be had on DVD? Never seen one yet. I have it possibly taped off TV on a VHS, but the digging will take days, even weeks.

I always liked this movie. Havent seen it in forever so maybe I wont like it anymore. That happens to me sometimes, I liked something as a kid and then as an adult I cant stand it!

I used to watch it back in the day on HBO too. I haven't seen it since the '80s, though, so I barely remember it. I'll have to Netflix it for nostalgia sake.

One of my faves! I have it on VHS; I've never looked for it on DVD, I guess. I didn't like Saturday the 14th Strikes Back, though. I haven't watched the original in awhile. I guess I'll have to drag it out.

Richard Benjamin and Ed Begley, Jr. do not a funny film make. I think the one big gag was when Richard Benjamin whips out his star of david to try and repel a vampire...
....or was that when he was in Love at First Bite...meh..either way, avoid Saturday the 14th.
AVOID IT.
Ed Begley was impressive in all those seasons of St. Elsewhere, and thats about it.

I have it on DVD. When I watched it again awhile ago...it really wasn't as good as I remembered it to be. It was actually alot more violent than I remember it to be. The one girl (Kari Michaelson) in it ...use to be on "Gimme a Break". I use to like that show. It is sad that Nell Carter died so young.

I have to admit, I never bothered with this movie b/c I thought it was either a.) a spoof on Friday The 13th or b.) Someone copying the idea of Friday The 13th. I guess the name really made me not want to watch it!
