There is an old Diane Lane(or is it Lain?) movie I just love. It was based back in the 60's I think and supposed to be based on a true story. She plays a handicaped girl who is in love with Elvis and somehow they become pen pals. Anyone know of this one? I'd love to track it down and buy it. Thanks

Wow I have never heard of this one, thanks for the info on it.
Does anyone remeber the movie with Linda Purl and I think Shaun Cassidy called Like Normal People. They play a retarded couple that start a life together and I think have a child and try to live a normal life.

I vaguely remember that one Jessica, I love Shaun Cassidy-it sounds cool.
I wanna know where you can find some of the made for tv movies...because I was looking at an old TV guide(1978) over the weekend, and I was reading to my mom the names of a ton of movies that use to play on Saturday afternoons and late at night. There were only 10 channels, and yet there were all these great "thrillers"...I mean very cool plot lines for movies, when you read the descriptions, and now they replay the same old junk all the time, when there are all these great movies out there sitting on a shelf somewhere collecting dust, it is really a shame, because younger people will never ever know such cool stuff ever existed.
